Anne was the first and only teenager admitted to the acting program at the award-winning The Barrow Group in New York. Her first big role was The Princess Diaries in 2001. She has since appeared in The Other Side Of Heaven, The Cat Returns (voice), Nicholas, Nickleby, Ella Enchanted, The Princess Diaries 2 - Royal Engagement, Havoc, Brokeback Mountain and The Devil Wears Prada (with Emily Blunt). Currently, Anne can be seen portraying Jane Austen in the movie Becoming Jane.
